Happy New Year! And happy 8 years to Catalyst communications choreography.
wow - in this past year, I have taken a literal LEAP with my company. Since launching the new website, a shiny new video, hiring a business coach in the fall and recalibrating my process and service offering - I've been able to double (triple) my client base as well as hire four fresh, talented employees since October.
I'll also note that the majority of this success took place in the last three months of the year - proving it is never too late in the year to make a LEAP. Just wanted to say thanks and how that I've got subscriber ability on the site, hope to see more of you here in the NY!
On to the subject at hand. The most popular content for 2014 was as follows:
Why Jian's Winning This Round #CrisisComms101 (written day one of the saga)
The majority of these posts were also delivered in the latter half of the year - which indicates either A. I am getting better at attracting eyes with the right subject matter or B. I am getting better at sharing. I'll take both! They also each deal with reputation and PR, something people are obviously still hot on, given the enormous focus on profiles, the rebirth of the mini-crisis and importance of creating a fan base.
I also think outreach has something to do with it - a growing network, taking greater advantage of Linked In as a top contributor and a constant refinement of not only my craft of PR but of the ever-elusive Art of Selling - online, offline, ideas, products, you name it!
Many of you may not know that I have also been a yoga instructor for almost a decade, constantly honing those skills simultaneously as my business acumen. In that learning, I have also honed the skills and elasticity required for this "entrepreneur lifestyle".
I LOVE business. I love talking about ideas and I continuously hope that I attract an upward spiral of talented, smart and progressive individuals and clients into my network and into my life!
Happy New Year everyone :)
