Catalyst CC worked with the Floorball Club of Canada to promote the 5th and 6th annual Canada Cup Floorball Championships as well as raise the profile of the sport of Floorball among general news, sports media and new players.

Results were unprecedented amount of media coverage around the event including: Breakfast Television, Toronto Sun, Toronto Star, CTV news, CFTO, Global, Fan 590 radio, as well as regional team media coverage in Hamilton, Mississauga, Vaughan and North Toronto various Lifestyle and Community magazines and more....

WEST 49

Amanda lead a national PR campaign for West 49 retail stores across Canada generating press around the success of the St. Catharines retail chain and spearheading a student Skate 'Safety Ambassador' program in multiple communities in provinces from New Brunswick to Toronto.

Canada World Cup  

Amanda headed up media relations two years in a row for the Canadian Open World Cup skateboarding competitions held in Hamilton, ON and in Vancouver, BC. Two full days of skating with record crowds and an impressive list of over 80 male and female skaters. Provided media training for Skateboard Pro, Pierre Gagnon and generated over 100 pieces of media coverage during the first year's event. Coordinated pre-event media coverage and on site interviews during event with professional athletes and sponsors.

Design Essentials

Catalyst worked with an interior design and home staging duo to launch them into the Barrie Real Estate and general home buyers markets. Success included coordinating a well-attended grand opening event including media coverage. Amanda also scripted, produced and directed a 20-minute promotional DVD for use in local Real Estate offices. Media coverage included Home décor magazines along with local television  news and print coverage.

English & Miller

 A unique and refined English Tea Room and Gift shop hired CATALYST for consulting around their new launch into the Barrie downtown core as well as coordinating a highly visible media article to introduce themselves to retailers and promote their Grand Opening.
