Catalyst partnered with an environmental advocacy organization to support the launch of its Parry Sound study and amplify awareness around a government initiative proposing new legislation related to filtration systems in household appliances. Catalyst translated technical research into compelling narratives for mainstream audiences and national media outlets. The engagement focused on strategic media relations, clear messaging development, and coordinated social media support to position the study within broader public policy conversations. The campaign generated over 20 media placements within the first month — including coverage from CBC News, Canadian Geographic, CTV Toronto, ON Nature Magazine, as well as regional newspapers and radio — significantly elevating visibility, public engagement, and policy awareness.

GEEP: GLOBAL LEADER IN E-WASTE RECYCLING
CCatalyst partnered with Global Electric Electronic Processing (GEEP) in Barrie to develop internal messaging and execute a strategic public media campaign supporting workforce growth initiatives. The engagement centered around promoting GEEP’s first company-led Job Fair, positioning the organization as an employer of choice during a competitive labour market.
Catalyst developed key messaging aligned with economic trends and workforce challenges in Ontario, while securing meaningful media coverage that amplified recruitment efforts. The campaign generated a full front-page feature and photo spread ahead of the Job Fair, alongside coordinated social media support and employee engagement. Catalyst served as the strategic marketing partner for Shutgun, the world’s leading fire sprinkler shut-off tool, supporting brand visibility and market education across construction and manufacturing sectors.
